Welcome to M.A.R.C.H! My name is Steve Quintero and I am the proud principal of M.A.R.C.H. I began my educational journey with Moreno Valley Unified as a 5th grader in 1988. In 2007 I was provided the opportunity to teach the students here at M.A.R.C.H and did so until 2013. I have finally returned home to M.A.R.C.H this year as the proud principal.

M.A.R.C.H has been awarded the distinction of a “Model” school along with a Platinum Award for Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports. It is a unique school for students who are credit deficient and/or seek an alternative school setting. We focus on developing the whole student by providing a nurturing environment and emphasize transferable skills that lead to academic success and a productive, responsible citizen. This vision is reflected in our school motto. K.P.A.W.S.A (Kindness, Persevering mindset, Always respectful, Willingly responsible, Safety conscious, Academics).

In addition to our core curriculum, M.A.R.C.H also offers elective courses (ie. Accounting, Art, ASB, Film Studies, Psychology, Spanish) and extra-curricular activities such as basketball, soccer, softball, and volleyball. With the above mentioned opportunities, students can earn up to 75 credits a school year.

I would also like to invite all parents and the community to stop by our school for a visit or to join one of our parent groups ELAC, SSC, and/or AAPAC. I feel we need to always increase our collaboration, communication, and creativity. These are all things that are necessary for us to keep progressing but more importantly necessary to provide our students the best education possible.

Again Welcome to M.A.R.C.H!
